My Topless Xmas run !
totally agree , thats why I have only ever had it off on this occasion.
Its all about having the option of course . I would have bought an elise but why , when I had the option of a much more powerful car and better looking car , which if you really want cant remove the roof also. In my opinion of course.
I just thought Id do it for a change , cause I can

Have to disagree and not just to cause an argument I prefer the elise (and the S1 at that) although the exige is nice but still in S1 form
The exige does look kinda wrong with the roof off, but when your sitting it, wizzing along deserted back roads (at the designated speed limit) who cares
The elise is my first soft top and should a time arrise when the clio works enough and the bank balance in healthy enough that I can get rid of it and get something new it will have to be another softop I just love the extra headroom.

Of course, I take that bit back you can hve the 111r if you fancy .
If I had another 25k to spend I know what Id buy , again.
All down to personal preference I suppose , personally I prefer the more aggresive look of the exige and sometimes think the elise can be quite girly looking. In my opinion only. however I would be driving an elise if I didnt have some extra cash pop up prior to my purchase .
I understand 111r and exige prices dont differ to much , but I guess again its all down to personal preference

I like the Exige with its roof on or off. However I find girls sexy with their clothes on or off.PhilA wrote:i think the car is sexy with roof on or off

I've never seen the Exige with the roof off, might give it a go in Summer time. Looks fine from where im sitting. Best of both worlds me thinks being able to do it.
Suppose like already said it's all down to choice. I had the Elise S1 previous and loved getting the roof off in sunny days and how it looked. Bought the S2 Exige with no intention of taking the roof off, however the pics have changed my mind, nice one.

That must be the same one I saw in Stewarton recently with a blonde driving it as well!!!!BiggestNizzy wrote:No, but that reminds me, I may have seen it last week on the way home from shug's party It seemed to have broken down outside prestwick airport, I'm guessing it was that one as you don't get that many yellow lambo convertables around this kneck of the woods
