Jason,
Thought a lot about the Stelvio pass while we were perched high up in Wengen last week...without an Elise to play with! Took a look at the old Swiss roadmap to remind myself of some nice roadtrips I've had through there in the past, mostly in 1.0 litre Corsa hire cars (or, on this occasion, a 1.4 litre "Spirito di Punto"!). Think we did Jaunpass, Grimselpass etc a few years back and also had a nice cruise through the Emmental valley. Simmental is a nice way to get back to Geneva from Interlaken as well, although takes longer than the m-way even though it is a good few k's shorter
The Elise really is the car for those regions even if you can't overtake the locals for fear of their reprisals...roof off, it's the only way you can see the tops of some of tham thar hills!
Great stuff.

S'funny ol'world, Campbell, because I read that you'd been to Wengen in another thread, and it immediately made me fondly reminisce of Alpine passes and high-altitude lunches!!
