Was a good first outing for me, and special love for Mac in helping me out with guidance for the first 15mins, top man. I have definately been bitten by the bug, and any pics you have of the slow yellow S2 Exige would be great.

Only problem I had was driving home using the handbrake to avoid the metal on metal noises from the front brakes! Pads gone...... :x

I tried to make one a few weeks back but got there late and missed the breifing, didn't have a towing eye etc.. so I just gave it a miss.

For 6pm do you have to be there by 5:45? I techincally finish work at 5:30 so that would be pushing it :) I'm sure if i asked nicely i could get out at 5 for these days.

Good to see you made it out in the track JJ! I am also interested in seeing Tom sending Ed's exige backwards!

JJ,

Greenstuff pads - Get them from Piston & Components on the GWR.

That way you'll have an upgrade path as and when you get more comfortable with the car on track, increase speed and decrease laptime.

Padgid RS4-2. If you can shunt £200 on a set of pads.

The one problem I have with Greenstuffs is inconsistent braking force when cold, or coming back out of the pits.

If you've got one less variable in the equation it makes getting quicker, far easier, IMHO.

Otherwise - Simon likes the SBS (which he bought from Questmead - google it) which he got for £147 for the car set.

I only put greenstuffs on it because I now know them and they is cheeep. If I had the spare I'd go for one of the above (and might actually shell on the SBS next time)

Stewart,

Great set of pics - good record of a fun evening, you even got the 'Look no frontal vision' Honda with his bonnet up. I'll send you my e-mail for any you have of me.

Nice one
