Tryin to think of a few names I know on Typhoon....lets see if you know any of them......Neil Branford/Jon Morton/Steve Downall/Jason Turner......think they're all on design tho with the exception of Neil. I wouldn't mind getting back down there to work....I moved back up to work on Herti then Nimrod at Prestwick....and I've somehow managed to end up on the Aircraft Carrier in Scotstoun shipyard, possibly the dullest job I've ever had!

43 Sqn are to finish in Sept this year. So that a F3 Tornado Sqn for those who dont know.

111 Sqn will be the only F3 Sqn holding the fort, until 6 Sqn Typhoon will be be arriving at Leuchars Oct 2010.

I'm currently a REMF so miles from anything interesting/dangerous. I'm Warton based, working in ILS but the g/f is Typhoon flight test. Trying to get into Airworthiness to get at least near a jet from time to time, running databases all day is currently doing my swede, bit of a bitch as it's just become my job

Good to know Leuchars is safe for the future then!
