The driver was unhurt, he said it was too much front brake ( new R888s on front ) caused the rear to lift & lock. It was only his 1st or 2nd lap I think

Ehh? Not sure if that can actually happen... what I think he had, from the description give, was that he had too much rear brake balance for the grip on the rear, causing the rear to lock up first. It may well be that this is the first time he has come accross this due to running new 888's on the front.

Glad he wasnt hurt, would be intering to know if he had a brake bias valve fitted to the var, looked to be a well sorted bit of kit.

Dont suppose anyone has a link to anything showing the car before the off? Always been a bit of a closet RS turbo fan..
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Bias adjustable pedal box fitted.. suspected that, too much rear brake bias by the sound of it. Stunning spec. Quick re-shell and back out again :thumbsup

 lucky there was a rollcage fitted to that RS Turbo.

What is the blue shed that appears in the first photo ? It looks like a Pulp Fiction Honda Civic (http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_2970-Honda-Civic-1980.html)........not your usual track day car :?

I think it was an old Toyota corolla rwd, I think the engine had Burton stamped on the rocker cover, he had the back end out in every corner hence I didn't try to overtake him

Geez that's a nasty one! I can can count my lucky stars as last time I was out my brakes failed while braking for the hairpin and I got away with just a little gravel in mt undertray, phew! Speed Sunday is not really recomended for an car of any value yet alone a gorgeous Exige, Hot Marques is the trackday your looking for mate
