I was kayaking just off Gullane on Sat and had a first class view of some of these planes above ....fantastic afternoon .james wrote:Pah!
Who's flying those planes? Stevie Wonder? Almost all pictures clearly show the aeroplane all over the place, either upside down (even I know thats not the correct way) or turning too sharply.
You should ask for a refund.

Great shots Jason and FD.
Love the Vulcan, I remember it vividly at Leuchars from my yoof - thundering over and making the ground and my lungs shake! Some size too - bomb bay big enough only for one bomb IIRC? Prob a 20 megatonner though

You see the Vulcan and realise that it is the same class as Concorde and the SR-71 Blackbird for taking your breath away.

Afraid not, was in the air cadets (1919 SQd Belfast) on summer camp so pretty sure we were not even allowed cameras with us (was during the Cold War)jasonliddell wrote:Dambusters! Any pics, Iain?Skyenet wrote:I flew in a Vulcan of 617 Squadron back in the late sixties.
Went up in a Phantom a few year later when I was in the Fleet Air Arm and that was an even more amazing experience especially as we took off and landed on HMS Ark Royal.
My ex cleared out loads of my old pictures when I was selling my old house before buying a house together
