Thanks everyone!!

Yeah Smee, some of those were taken on the way to the beach. The ones with the semi circle thing was on the right hand side, before the residential home and the one with just the building was opposite the mushroom farm.

Andy C, I did wonder when I was picking the car up if you would spot me nicking it!! A lot of those pics were taken about 20 minutes after you saw me!! I think a team GE Vetco Grey pic would be ace!! Maybe do it during one of your Lotus lunches?!

Campbell, yes, its a nightmare to photograph! In direct sunlight, it looks a bit like chrome orange, but in the dark, it doesnt show very well either. Best is when there is no sun or in the shade, with the sun shining through the trees. Its a great colour though as it looks different in every light. Amazing! I just love it!! I love the night pictures on here, as the car looks really mean.

I just wish I could prise the keys from Alan so I could get a shot of it once in a while!! :damnfunny

jen wrote:Thanks guys! Im not so keen on the wheels but they look ok for now. We're going to get our original ones blasted and coated in matt black at some point. And I think a black petrol filler cap would finish it off.
:o I love the Rotas, in fact from just looking at there pics I went to look at what they cost to get a set for mine (rather than my current plan to refurb my wheels)

Are your originals the regular 5 split spoke wheels that would be on an R reg?

Hi Chris, yep the originals are the split 5 spokes. We are actually thinking of selling those wheels to pay for the refurb of the originals if you're interested? We just havent got round to doing anything about it yet!

Hey Leigh, all I know is that they are rotas, not sure if that's the make or what  I'm sure someone will be along to correct me! Corranga has them now......

Cheers!

Rota is the make, Geary used to do them for around £450, but he does not list them anymore.
