Great to see you back in an Elise/Exige again Dezzy after the accident, especially with one that is pretty close to Azure blue. She looks a beaut.

Look forward to seeing you out on a run, and of course on track again next year.

Cheers all! :D Just back from Oban. I've managed to clock up a fair amount of miles over the weekend and now sitting just short of 600 miles (including the delivery mileage it came with). Won't be long til that after-sales service and 2nd cam . . . ! :D 8)

I had my first experience of wet roads with AO48s today on the way back from Oban. I took the long route down via Lochgilphead and Inveraray to get the miles on her and it was really drizzly all morning with pretty wet roads. I just took it easy, which I have to at the moment anyway for the warranty, and it was fine. No big patches of standing water, but a few puddles and pretty wet roads. I didn't feel any loss of grip at any time.

Even though I can't put the right foot down yet, I was still able to have some fun on some of the twisty bits on the way to Oban yesterday. The handling is amaaaaaaazing! I can feel such a difference with the 48s in the dry and the wider front tyres / Exige suspension. It just feels much more grippy at the front and turns in more. At that point where you think your Elise is going to start straying into understeer, the Exige just keeps on turning in . . . fantastic! 8) :D

D

P.S. Rob, the deal fell through on the Red one and while they were sorting things out with the 3rd party seller (it's now for sale again), I was offered a very good deal on this one which I just could not refuse.
