Dont rush into the half doors, they are quite restrictive if your into arm flailing oversteer. And we know you are Mass

I sold mine on and preferred the "freedom" of just nae doors at all.

If its a late one Mass, is it full R400 spec of 200bhp with the roller barrels etc or is it the 190bhp spec ?

You will be also needing a suede momo too.............much nicer to driver with when wearing gloves, which you also need, even in summer

Still trying to work out why I miss my 7 so much!!!!! But I just do.

Ok Dave,

I will try without the half doors first. I heard they cut out a lot of turbulence in the cockpit (below the chest height).

I think it is the SLR spec of 190 bhp.

Looking forward to take you and any other SEers out in it :thumbsup

I have added a section on to the throttle pedal and changed its position slightly for better H&T but haven't driven it yet so may need more adjustments.

I was going to take it out for a blat but rain just started..... b*****y typical.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I'm with Dave 77 on this - i have screen and doors on most of the time, but when i borrowed his aero for a few days the thing i liked most was the elbow room - try it without them first.

Again, I'm with TonyG and Dave - Aero, nae doors (180 deg vision :thumbsup ) and suede Momo (I think mine is the smaller one). Gluvs are fur pooves

From now on, you will be in a world of removing things for lightness (roof) and checking out the Caterham online store :thumbsup

Most just use a little bit of percussive adjustment on the throttle pedal. You just bend it to where you want it.

The brake and clutch have 3 different pivot points but you need a bit of twiddling to get them exactly where you want them.

And you may have a brake balance valve attached to the pedal box as that is where it was mounted on the toxic frog

Just back from a test drive blat.

The car feels sweet and so easy to H&T now. Can't wait to take it on track.
