This thing was very quick.

Found some footage of the family transporter on youtube :

Big D takes over on the straight before they enter the track (nice flames, D, at 33 sec!) and manages to keep them behind him till the end of the lap at 10:10, where the V70 takes over thanx to slipstreaming. The lap seems a bit dull, but driving 200km/h at Fuchsrohre in the wet and catching up with big-D says enough about the speed this goes.
spotted a very cautious Frank on 2:25.

The red porka ruined it for D, that and the white BMW that cut in front in him after the main straight. A the 9.50 ish mark is where the Volvo nearly ended up in the armco, did really well to collect it. Great times, cant wait to go back.

I still can't believe you behaved in such an irresponsible manner. The unexpected need for manual nav in the morning must have been a bit of a p!sser for you!

Crackin video Dom, I was being pretty cautious with my overtakes since it was a trackday (didn't want to upset anyone) and a bit slippy off line. Had a few hold ups that lap as well as spending a few seconds deciding what the waved white flag was.

Then passing the recovery vehicle slowly. I thought by the way the Volvo was driving I could use hime as a battering ram to move the traffic so let him by when I was stuck behind the porsche. Worked quite well and I had fun in the volvo sandwich although it looks pretty mad on the video.
I'll have to watch it on mine and see what it looks like.

Here's the link to the page on the DF site, where the Nordschleiffe vid taken from the BMW can be seen.

good but short shots from McKeann and myself.
(horrible site to navigate on)

you got some unfinished business there?
DF announched to be busy scheduling a similar day in the spring of 2011.
Since their postings are in Dutch, it's probably best if I keep SE updated?
Frank and big-D are DF registrated anyway. I'm sure they'll pick up the Dutch word for Nordschleiffe from the postings.
