I'd settle just for a decent double garage, but we've run out of room!
Think I'll have to wait until the kids have moved out. 17 yrs and counting then I guess
OTOH, I am very pleased with what I achieved with our integral garage, which although slightly shorter than common sizes due to layout constraints elsewhere in the house, is managing to pack quite a wodge of stuff in. Including a car. Not least thanks to nxy's carpentry skills on my home-made shelving system at one end! I guess that's what comes of developing the skills to pack a lot into an Elise...you learn to pack a lot into a small garage for one too

Coincidently, we are just converting the Annexe into a garage, which will take four cars.

And about time too!
Although you will need a pitlane traffic light system to enable everyone to shuffle in and out.

Tut, the garage WILL look great when converted. What sort of door are you having?
Look forward for the photos when completed.
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I think that's the case so long as your land is agricultural.

Why not apply for the SRDP
http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Rural/SRDP? Just tell them it is for storage of your hand tilled wild flower seed fodder for you organically reared quails

Time to get back some of that tax we pay and would be a great place for the Paine Towers 2009 Barn Dance
