That looks fantastic but Bell/Boeing had a nightmare trying to get the ospray to work. good luck to them though.flyingscot68 wrote:They are promoting a new version with VTOL on their web-site, no runway needed, looks atleast twenty years away from reality to me.BiggestNizzy wrote:Would work well in the US where you get housing estates with runways attached.
for me it would have to have VTOL so you can land it in your driveway.

I would like to see someone do that in an Elise or Exige.

I drove that road back while in NZ back in 2008 - Unfortunately I had an Audi A4 (automatic).

Wow that's impressive! Would be great for coating the mechanical parts on the car - (were it to be restored).... and bikes,.. and tent, and and and! Pretty dam useful stuff!
Re: Random Pictures & Videos
Some of the stuff we sell (Jaybird Bluebud earphones, if anyone is interested) use a similar nano coating from Liquipel. Does the same thing. Clever stuff indeed - not sure how large you can go with the coating - also not sure how it works with wear (it's the internal electronics that are coated with the Jaybirds)

From what I can gather it does wear with use, It's okay to drop my sisters sony phone down the bog and fish it out but don't go swimming with it.
