AMP3 Archos SLS Trackday footage!

Finally...
It's here folks - I've kept it in the original camera quality, so it's a massive file (the vid has come out at 15 minutes long) If you want, I can compress a 'lite' version, which will suffer in quality.
Disappointments - no meaningful RLC footage with Andy - there was a sound problem when he was recording, from the files I got. Also, nothing with tut - our intrepid cameraman switched on the video in the pitlane and it seems that the tut takeoff from the pits made him knock the switch again. As I've said in the other thread, there are a few who will note that they had pax's with cameras and don't appear here - the students had some issues with aiming and making sure they were running, so we lost some good stuff to squinty cameras. For the next one, we'll investigate different mounting options.
That all said, I'm chuffed with the spread of cars and I hope you like
File is 327MB, recorded in XviD -

A recap on the kit - Archos 405 and Helmet Camera, available from
http://www.amp3.co.uk, currently available for £204.99, bought together.

Low-res WMV version linked below - don't blame me if it looks and sounds like it's in a fishbowl though

Don't have a huge amount of time to test different compression settings.

Sorry mate - was supposed to get info about who was in whose car, but that didn't end up getting filtered back.

Top footage.
Isnt me in the vid (too slow) plus the stereo is wrong and has aircon.
The last Exige blasting down the straight would appear to sound like me though

I'll own up to to being the old, cautious ("too slow") Exige chasing Iain's silver Porsche

can't believe non of the RLC footage came out properly from its last outing
Ah well - noticed how much better the quality is though when the cam is mounted, in the monkey spinning sequence!

Good news - managed to salvage the RLC footage!
Premiere doesn't like it, but the original file plays fine. So, as a tribute to the RLC and all who sailed in her, here's the last video of it in full song:

168MB DivX - about 15 mins long.

Oh, we've just dropped the price of the Archos 405 we used on the day - so it's now down to £99 - that means the whole package would cost you about £190!
Sorry for the marketing post, but seems pertinent to the thread content!
