Post by r055 » Tue Dec 18, 2007 6:18 pm

The lotus has been under a full cover for the past week...
I was meant to go and completely finish my xmas shopping today, but it was not to be... :?

Roof off, heater on and off we go! (for 5 hours!) ...

I like No. 4 the best although I might be tempted to crop out a little of the foreground.
Slightly bigger images would be nice as well :D

Uploaded 50% images as it was the first time using Flikr and wasnt sure of upload speed etc - i pasted hyperlink on medium size photos as well so there are slightly higher res one on my flikr page.

Im on a very steep learning curve on using the camera as its the first real one I have ever owned. So much to consider and everything i read tends to be completely forgotten when i get out in the cold and my fingers are numb.

back end of Strathaven/ Auldhouse - bloody freezing up there - thats where the Horse's yard is. some good roads up there, but my car scrapes off every fecking bump.

Excellent pics Ross
back end of Strathaven/ Auldhouse
Is that the Ardochrig road? if you keep going it ends up back at the A72 - excellent road but some scary ditches if you stray too far off the black bits. Used to be a favourite place for stolen cars to be ditched/burnt out,. Keith

Hi Keith,
Theres two ways to get to it - The quickest way would be along the A71- turn off just after caldermill - thats the way i go when going up to the stables.
The alternative is to cut off on way to EK (just after Clarks) to the left go along that long straight road for a few miles then turn left again before you get to to the auldhouse cutoff.
