Took loads of photos in the first hour and was worried about the big nail in my tyre so left early to see if i could limp home. heres some of my favourites... Still need to practice more with the camera i think.

I think not Ross, for someone that has had their DLSR for less than a year, i applaud you sir! Good job! i find it funny now people who ask why buying a bigger camera is any different from a standard point and shoot! A year and a bit on, i still know there are many years of getting to grips with photopgraphy, SLR's and the techniques envolved! The guy from power images ( i have forgotten your name, but i was getting into the disco as you left KH) came out of his car with i think a couple of SLR bodies and a few lenses, at that point i thought i might as well have my Canon Ixus 40 with me, until i reminded myself that practivce makes perfect and a bottle of wine and typing on forums means long winded posts!!!!!
