Sorry it's taken a while guys.

This was my first outing with recent digital SLR purchase (Sony A-100 c/w 80-300 zoom) and I was re-learning a lot from old 35mm days.

Here are a few real faves to whet your appetite:

I have a couple hundred more than these (!) but tried to pick out the best for my online album:

Anyone interested in a high res, let me know. Or if you're not there but want to know if I have a shot of your car shout as well...tried to capture most cars that were there although no promises.

Finally, anyone know how to blend half a dozen images to create an animated GIF? Have a couple which Tut, Andy and JohnR may be interested in.

Fantastic selection there. The conditions were crap from taking photos as my now dearly departed umbrella will attest.

I am just away to check your online album to see if you have caught me in action.

I did notice you having a few problems taming that particular umbrella , it appeared to be winning the inside / outside in battle........  Last seen heading in the direction of the Lake District under its own steam :damnfunny
Sadly I have to report that it's last resting place is the bin just by the Melbourne loop. Sad day as that umbrella fitted perfectly behind the seats and was ideal to keep out the rain if sat stationary :D

Thanks Kenny! As I hinted above, first time out with this particular camera trackside and was just perfecting my technique...the Porsche happens to be one of my sharpest and most effective panning shots of the day IMHO! And in fairness I *would* quite like a GT3 one day.

Oh and Stewart, apologies, I had a couple of shots of your 135 but they were not sharp enough so got vaporised, oops :-( Must've been going too fast eh ;-)

Yeah right! :D

Pity, I would have loved one with the Spitfire in view. The Xtreme guys had one, but it was slightly soft so didn't fancy paying £10 for a 7"x5" copy.

Well there is always next year! I will try to make more of that feature I think, really nice for composition if you can get the relative perspectives right.
