Doune Hill Climb 19th April 2008

Post by Stewart » Sun Apr 20, 2008 9:36 pm

Took a run across to Doune on Saturday and took a few snaps. Not as easy to take pictures as KH as at times the cars are so close to the banking and also they only do one "lap" (run) at a time. I suppose the same problems the drivers face :D

Great photos Stu.

Will never understand some people though. Lovely sunny day, and the MGB has his roof on?

Driven by Jonathon Rarity, last years hillclimb champion, who gave the very touching speach at Lawrence's funeral.

Fd won on both days as usual :D JR won his class on the first day and broke a drive shaft during practice on the second day.

I set a new personal best for the Doune  and will post up a full report later this evening.
