Nice one. I like the sound of it.

That's what you get for being silly on the track.

Sorry for stopping the session though.

Like the photos, especially the one Tut smiling after the countersteer.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Excellent track session and organisation by John, with the usual KH micro climate that at least gave us half of it dry.

I somehow never clued up with Andy for our usual session, but had a great time with the Ferrari 360 Stradale. Great to see a car like that being driven as it should be, but when I met the owner Matt I could understand why. He only bought it two months ago when he got rid of his Audi R8, and it is a fill in until his F430 Scuderia arrives. I then learnt that he also has an F40, so would love to see him drive that on track.

I believe he used to work in the City, but at least he knows how to spend his money, and a very likeable guy. John said that he also used to race F3 etc, which would explain his car control.

Really enjoyed lapping with him, we were identically matched, and swapped the lead several times. I kept waiting for him to lose it at the Hairpin when I was a few inches off his tail, but he always held it, very often sideways.

Spent most of the time on track and got through two tanks of fuel despite the rain, but was feeling tired on the solo ride home, so took the back roads via Edzell and the Cairn, sun came out, and it was a great drive.

A day like that is what the Elise is all about.

ps must be getting old though, aching a bit this morning.

pss however, when he gets his F430 Scud, I am going to need more power to stay with him.

May have to look into Toda cams, higher boost, as I believe that 350hp is no big problem.
