The Archos is a nice piece of kit but unfortunately its picks up too much wind noise - it's a built in mic right?
Dave, what bhp is your car running? Sticking with Kenny with his 190.....maybe you're just super talented... :P

cant see vids on my pda but im pretty sure i was in the car when dave was on track......just! ;o)

cant imagine the poor wee car had much left in reserve after daves "enthusiastic" driving. is that the right word? maybe it should be scary..... or over the limit......or fearless........

Yup, but the mic is on the cable, in the remote. What Iain has done, which works well, is put foam around it. He uses it on the bike with no protection and the wind noise isn't bad - inside the cockpit of a car, I think it'd be fine.

I use my Archos inside the car with the remote between the seats, it picks up the sound fine. Just a shame the remote isn't that far along the cable from the end, as it does limit your options a bit for using the bullet cam externally.

Might be worth trying an upload on http://www.vimeo.com/ as it is a high def site so less reencoding and loss of quality.

BTW i've now watched said video and it doesn't convey the seat puckering fear of DDtB high on 17 cans of red bull trying his hardest to catch and pass a car that was QUITE CLEARLY FASTER THAN HIS

There was talent on display, but it mainly seemed to come out to save us from plunging into the gravel / tyres when he completely lost it from over-driving the poor thing :damnfunny

awwww.... that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me.....

I reckon the vid cuts out after 1 min due to something like either one of us banging the switch or possibly it being shaken violently as I had a tiny wee slidey moment at the bottom of Duffus.... all good fun though and I'm sure there's still more speed to be had....... just need a weee bit more red bull next time... :drink :drink :drink :drive :drive :drive
