A couple of videos from the Sunday morning track session at the Speedfair last weekend. Apologies for the delay in posting these, Windows Movie Maker refuses to work on Vista so need to go back to my trusty old XP box to edit them

The first vid is just the first few laps before the session was red flagged, but I thought I'd post it anyway so Ken can see the footage following his car. In the second vid of the remainder of the session, I think a number of you will feature at some point: initially following DJ I think, then mixed in with the traffic, following Yvo for a bit. I'm passed later by Ali C's silver S1 Elise and followed him through the traffic for the remainder of the session.
I'll hopefully post up my videos from the Friday night session tomorrow

Yep.

Interesting to see my car from behind on track, even if only for half of a warm up lap !
It struck me that the second vid could be posted onto the
track etiquette -letting slower guys back in thread as in this is how it should be done. There are good examples at all 3 main corners - around the 3.30min mark, 9.40min mark too and another one where I forgot to note the time. Also not runnning too close when coming up to slower cars, indicating when moving over for faster etc. All very good stuff

Thanks DJ, I thought I had spotted your car in one of the other videos, but can't remember which one now...
I find it's the same as driving on the road, I'd rather let someone make the move when it suits me rather than risk confusion, for all it takes to give a flash of the lights and back off slightly, I don't see it as a big deal and most people appreciate that. I have no aspirations to be a racing driver, so a few seconds delay is no big deal, hopefully people will then return the favour later! I still consider myself a track novice so a little bit of courtesy goes a long way
