Post by allyrennie » Fri Aug 29, 2008 2:56 pm

Wee bit different yesterday, Johns Caterham with the main requirement being the engine detailing. So, after 4 hours with various products, spanners, screwdrivers, paintbrushes, toothbrushes, cotton buds etc etc I came up with this:-

I'm sorry ... (beware, on strong painkillers so prepare for a 'muff' post ;))

but...

What the feck are you doing wasting money getting an engine looking shiny? No-one will ever see the fcuk thing! Why the feck, for that matter would you detail a caterham?

beggars belief.

Part of the whole selling the car routine. Car looks fantastic, guy asks to see the engine, looks great, car runs great, drives great, John can hold his own on the asking price as there is not a thing the potential buyer can pick at, car sells...........hopefully

Thanks for the constructive comments guys!

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I can just about understand why you would do that to sell the car.... although I would prob use a jet wesh, followed by some WD40 / GT85
