I know its wrong, but impressive for a Corsa  .....not sure how many laps he could keep it up for however.

Frank, how you liking your new toy, much difference to your last, seems to be going well :thumbsup

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

pretty impressive, good driver too, shame he was on the limit all the time.

Knockhill should have blue flagged him but dont think flashing to get him out the way is the right thing to do.

Hey Mike,

Car is great, it feels just like the old one on track, as you would expect, but seems to be a couple of seconds quicker round KH.
Best bit is the bigger AP discs/callipers which are much more reassuring than the standard ones.

Philthy,

On the limit is good.
Over the limit is a danger to everyone.
That's why he was black flagged.
When he ran into the cone at Clarks' it was enough for me.

Mass,

Hope you liked it! :thumbsup

Take care,

Frank

That Corsa driving is awesome. I'd have stayed behind for longer and see how long he could keep it up whilst laughing my head off.

Had a similar thing when following the wee red fiesta with the roll cage. He was all over the show and I was just waiting for it to end in tears. He was taking more kerb than me.  He finally pulled over to let me pass before Clarks but didn't slow down, luckily I saw him in my mirror as I turned in.

Better he does it on a track day than trying it on the road but I can understand that some wouldn't want that lunacy when they have their £40k plus cars there. Thankfully mine's worth pennies now.

May have been an idea to drop back yourself Cisco if you were a bit worried about his driving. He wasnt slow by any means but you putting pressure on and flashing lights was prob the reason he was pushing to within an inch of going off. Yes... he should have gotten out of the way though.

I didnt see any black flags the first time round, or the cones... but it is fun to watch him :D

Needless to say, I've got a note of the guys name and car....

PS - I used to own a corsa too.... not quite as shabby as that one. But vids of it here (no one complained when I had it along to HM events etc)

Adam,

FWIW I was not pressurising the guy, but I knew it was good video so that's why I stayed where I was. Fully agree it was entertaining.

I really expected him to bin it earlier, but when he hit the cone at Clarks' that was enough, It could just as well have been the tyres resulting in a real mess.

If he had not let me through at that point I would have pitted anyway.

No big deal really. But bear in mind that there were at least two cars on their roofs by the end on the day. That's not what you need.

Take care,

Frank

Frank, good video.

My brake failed at the hairpin just after you let me by. It took the garage 1 hour to fit the new pads  At least I got a pax in your car :thumbsup

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
