Went for a wee drive yesterday to take advantage of the quiet roads and crackin' scenery we have. 8) The car needed a wee run anyway. :D

Messed about with the pics after looking at some tips for photoshop. Don't know if I've made them worse or not but I was trying to keep some scenery in too.

I think your trying to hard with the photoshop. It tends to draw you away from the picture, as opposed to highlighting it.

the less purple one is a bit more like it :thumbsup

Agreed, I think you are PS'ing a decent photograph and making it in my opinion a bit cheesy Don! Your composition is pretty damn good, and shots with cars and scenery are a winner!

I found this months edition of digital camera really useful, has 20 top PS tips for beginners, and to be honest if you can master them then you are onto a winner!

Just my 2p, and I love that road!

The problem is a bland Silver car with bland grey skies tends to look rather, er, bland. So I was trying to make it look more interesting. The first couple I didn't really know how to tone it down or indead what filters would work so still learning. :thumbsup Learn't loads with just that one tutorial though. 8)

Thanks for the tip on the magazine, I might just go and buy that. I should really get a decent digital SLR at some point too.

Dude,

The mistake you made was taking your car and eye off the strip of tarmac ... scenery? Whatever! If you want scenery, err, go walking, or something?

Have a splendid new year ...
