Post by Karen » Thu Jan 01, 2009 7:35 pm

Headed off out to escape New Year's Day and it's amazing what we found along the way! Yes, it really was a ready decorated tree at the side of the road!!!

 not sure which way to read this post! is it normal to have kermit in the foreground as opposed to pre-decorated tree in background... or is this in with the humour of the post! :? :|

ive gotta say that your car looks great with dirt on it :thumbsup
in fact in a perverse kind of way, i think all bright coloured elises/ exiges look great when dirty!

Hi Karen, we saw the same tree (I think) the day after boxing day on a run out past Inverary to Long Awe. It was a bit more dressed at that time (the tree). We were going to take a pic too on way back but it was too dark by then. Was a great day for a run though - got some great pics of Loch Long (taken on mobile) First time uploading pic - not sure how to reduce size Image

Ed, 10 out of 10 - was indeed where we were. Headed to Crianlarich then Tyndrum and then back down the side of Loch Lomond. Couldn't believe how many people there were at The Drovers for lunch! Good day out and didn't spot any other Loti on the roads!

Went for a cheeky wee run myself today up to the Lecht. Was pretty slushy on the roads and I took it easy (had the 3yr old lad in the car aswell). Managed to get stuck on hard packed snow in the car park until some nice man gave me a wee nudge to get me moving

Brave boy.

Thought about it, but with only just being able to walk, acted sensible for once in my life as I could not afford any untowards.

However Verian bought me an electric heated seat cover for Xmas, roof is off, so will be out on the next dry road day.

Feet are weird at the moment, they are shedding a layer of skin like a snake. Must be lack of use outside.

That's cause he hitched a lift back to Kirkcaldy with us! He was fed up sitting around waiting for another Lotus to pick him up :D He kept seeing Ed pass him in the Scandal 160 but without success...........!
