A Weekend in Wales...

Post by jamie » Mon Jan 26, 2009 8:05 pm

Went down for the Anglesey double header last weekend with two goals - one, get my brother on track for his first TD - scary bit in my car  Second goal shake down the car post improvements :)

Picked up my Brother up at Chester and headed over on Friday.
First day was the National circuit which combined with just 12 cars was perfect for getting my Brother up to speed. Perfect blue skies were a surprise!
Second day was the Coastal layout which soon became my new favourite track. Again just 18 cars in wet conditions so lots of space to play. Really impressed with my brother not crashing and improving all the way through the weekend.

If anyone ever heads down a great place to stay is Cleifiog B&B :thumbsup

Here are a few pics.....

Nice car. I like white! What's the story with the tape? Apologies - track virgin here!* I'm guessing something to do with all that water?

Cheers :D
The duct tape is to stop air & water going into the brake cooling ducts (don't need the extra cooling in those conditions) :thumbsup

Err quick - left a guy in a 211 a bit shocked and its a really short straight 8) Traction in the wet was actually not bad at all, just needed to keep an eye on the torque coming out of corners :thumbsup

Matey - great to see you back in amongst it :thumbsup

May tap you up for one of those pics if they are high res, as it would look epic framed.

Having driven it with 300bhp, it must be interesting with 370 odds  Now remind why the f*** you arent down for FF8 again? :cheers
