Top job sir - using it today and already got it dirty again!

Still it will be SO much easier to clean.

For those of you who know what i mean about the surface of the car feeling "glassy" it really is awesome now. Ally's new agitator thing just whipped the dirt off the engine too!

Thanks again matey :thumbsup

Looking good.

What did you do to the car? The whole treatment to all areas?

That engine bay makes me moist...

I love the fact that there's no plastic covers on things. Where a big merc or beemer engine bay these days is just a few layers of styled plastic covers, this is displayed in the bare alloy greatness. Appeals to the engineering geek in me. :thumbsup

Hi Mass,

Whole car was clayed then a very mild compound applied with rotary machine and a very soft pad - Trialled this on an area of the car and decided on that approach.

Following this up with an application of Meguiars 80 speed glaze, machine applied to the flatter areas of the car and hand applied to the smaller areas - This is the key to sealing the deep red colour in and providing the long lasting protection against UV.

The whole car was then treated to 2 hand applied coats of Dodo Juice Supernatural V2 wax.

Engine was cleaned using the new Tornador gun, It looked clean before but honestly I was shocked myself at the ground in dirt and grime that this thing lifted, I got Andy out when one rocker cover had been done and I think he surprised at what it was shifting, not until you see it in action do you appreciate just how clean it is getting things!

Wheels were hand cleaned using a Citrus based cleaner followed by a coating of Chemical Guys Wheel Barrier wax for protection.

Interior was valeted, Leather was cleaned using a Dc Martin ( Yes, he of shoe fame ) cleaner and feed.

Oh, and filled up the screenwash and dropped in some paper mats to try and keep it clean.

Great car to work on, such a difference when its all cut back and polished / waxed, such a deep deep red!

Cheers again
