New wheels

Post by gdr » Sat Feb 14, 2009 6:32 pm

:thumbsup Thanks to Northernpar for the Team Dynamics wheels c/w T1Rs plus the 8" 2bular exhaust. I think the silver wheels suit the black car better than the Lotus lightweight black ones it came with. Tyres seems pretty good too in current road conditions, enough grip to get up the snowy farm road and they were working pretty well on the gritty greasy roads we had today. First run out in the Exige for a while, good fun, I like the new exhaust too, much fruitier tune, but not excessively noisy.

Sweet pooch! Is he a border terrier?

See you on track soon.

Hi Mass,

Yes, she is the younger of our two Border Terriers, slightly daft animal but likeable. Looking forward to track season, not sure which will be my first KH one, but sure to see you there.

Cheers

Like the TD wheels, less stealth, but more sleek. Obviously photo taken before a run or after a wash !

Glad to see the Panda is as manky as mine :thumbsup

Yep, whatever anyone thinks about the low maintenance "advantages" of black rims, unless they are clean and shiny I think they take a significant edge off the look of any car.

At least dirty silver wheels are still "shiny" ;-)

Very tidy.
