Fantastic collection of cars Jim, the stuff of dreams.
What actually happens on the run itself? Do you split into groups and drive at our type enjoyable speeds, or is it more of a procession?

Jim, great photos. I guess only black and red cars were invited
Were some of the cars from down south?
I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

We left Stirling and headed up to Lochearnhead for lunch in the hotel. It was noticeable that the other cars on the road pulled over or got out of the way without any issues. In a way it really was like a procession with nobody wanting to be "in the way". I was in the middle of the 22 car pack and was comfortably 50 tuts over at times, but in the main it felt like a "cars on show" thing. Going through the wee villages it was all low speed/low gear loudness but I think the fact that it was so many Ferrari's ment it seemed less boy-racer than it might have seemed in other cars. Even when we got to Lochearnhead there were about 3 or 4 folk who stopped eating / chatting and came out to move their cars to a different bit of carpark so the Ferrari's could be parked "nicely" and other folk squeezed into tight spaces or stayed on the street rather than park up and mingle, although there were lots of folk wandering round the cars and getting pics in them. After lunch was more of a go-at-your-own pace thing with planned stops to catch-up. I got detached when I had to go get some petrol and got a shock when I ended up flying up the rear of the SE gang near Loch Tay. After a quick stop and chat I tagged in for a bit and at one point we passed some of the Ferrari lot at one of the stops. Their route took them back towards Stirling but there were cars from Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Borders. I think there is as much "show" as "go" but it really did feel like an event.

Great pics
I was passed by a 328 (red, of course!) as I was coming home from Carron Valley this afternoon, looks like the one in pic 3.

Ah I saw a couple of Ferraris pulling into the river house in Stirling about 10.15 yesterday, that will be what is was for. They were also seen at the green welly in Tyndrum. The pics look more impressive than our 3 VX run

Think you went past our lunch stop at Lochearnhead. Certainly there were 3 Vxs .. I did stand at the side of the road and wave

Hmmm. It did look a bit awkward. The interior was a fairly individual maroon(ish) as well.
Didn't really flatter the car too much
