Got myself a lotus!

Post by rossl » Sun Apr 12, 2009 9:13 pm

Whilst on tour with the Donkey Punchers, got the chance to experience ali & craigs exiges, ever since, I have wanted to get one.

Flight down to London on Friday and picked up my new car. :D

Am still getting to terms with how fast it is.......awesome. The noise it makes even with the standard exhaust is amazing once you get above 5k revs.

And before anyone asks, yes, this one comes with parking sensors!!

Wasnt convinced about the white stripe / spoiler and had been thinking about changing to something less dramatic but it has grown on me and I actually now like it. Let me know what you think.

Love it and especally the interior - had forgotten how much better S2s are screwed together.

I am most envious of your meaty seats

Got to say I was muchos impressed with the torque and build quality, il stop slagging S2s as much, even if they are a bit lardy

Looks great and original IMO. Can truely be called the badger. :D

me and Sanjoy were probably your first spotted at about 6.30pm or 7pm so on the M6 or the M74. Memory is going, but the car definitely stands out.

Yup very noticeable as we were on the big downhill bit of the M74 that is signed as liable to icing and got a full almost overhead look at the car. I thought it was a silver stripe.

You cannot buy a car on SE without someone finding out, we were tryin to work out who bought it after its pistonheads ad had been banded about.

Yeah, thought there might be a bit of guessing going on after a well known SE'er had been doing a bit of digging on some of the other forums!

Now you know...... :thumbsup
