These Typhoons are up at Leuchars on exercise just now. They are just amazing to watch.

Love how close you got! I miss working at BAE Warton:( Was always amazing seeing them take off....setting off every car alarm in the carpark as well!!! :damnfunny

Dodgy, you were in Leuchers today?! I was standing on the platform at the train station on way to London, when a couple took off! Shame they are not coming to Leuchars as planned, as one of the pilots i know said their squadron is being disbanded in September, which is a shame. He is praying to get into the Reds next week though.

??? The Squadrons are being disbanded as F3 squadrons and then stood up again later as Typhoon Squadrons last thing I heard?

kind of related but I read that the yanks are blaming china for hacking into their blueprints for their new fighter jet...

Nearly... I was in St Andrews, breaking just about every health & safety law there is on a building site.

Picture me in a suit, no high vis/hard hat etc.,.... climbing scaffolding... briefcase in one hand, then also keeping an eye out for glass raining down from a window/skylight thing - which the builders were attacking with a hammer.... Nice view from the top though :thumbsup

Except the rear fuselage, that rocks (Mostly because of good old British workmanship in British factories :thumbsup) Otherwise it's rubbish :lol:
