THAT is a rear wing!

Nice capture, John. Drifting off topic (geddit?!) how do the drifting racing work? Is it first past the post or are style marks awarded? :?

Drifting scores are all done on speed and style.

I'm not 10% sure, so the following is based on my observations from Sunday.

The faster and more sideways (but still controlled) you are the better. There are two runs with each car taking a turn to lead, and the following car has the task of staying as close to the lead car and try to out-do them on style. The faster you are, the more difficult it is for the following car to keep up and score points.

If the scores after two runs are close or equal, then they will do another two runs to find a winner.

Thanks :)

Using a Canon 40D - most of the panning shots were taken with the 70-200F4L (nons-IS) lens, with most of the head on shots taken using a 100-400 on a monopod.
