wedding elise video

Post by vet111s » Thu May 21, 2009 1:24 pm

As I approach being married a year I was flicking through some photos of the wedding and came across this little video taken by my wife's cousin and thought I'd share it with you.
Superb day in North Berwick and great fun driving from Dirleton Castle (where we held the ceremony) to the Marine Hotel in my elise.

Works now looked a good day. Not tempted toleave black lines down the road ?

Got married in a sleepy town in France, looking though his wedding photos from the venue I was joking to Sarah about taking the Lotus down as the wedding car. He flicked to a page and pulled up a 340 as a wedding car!

Had to be a little careful with my right foot, it might have been the shortest marriage in history if Ellie's hair had ended up standing on end because of over use of the loud pedal!
(your vid seems private too Sanjoy)

yep, fully kilted up, the onlookers were asked to avert their eyes! It was more interesting getting ellie in when i'd never seen her dress and had no idea if it'd fit! All worked out well in the end.

VX + Kilt in a tescos car park was the most difficult exit I have ever had, I should have got cash before getting dressed for the wedding :D

Getting out of an elise in a kilt is only an issue if you have any problem with complete strangers seeing your bellend. I have no such qualms...

We had our Type 72 in some of our wedding photos it was MIchelle's idea and I'm glad she thought on it. Spent most of the day before cleaning it and got some back to black type stuff for the grills ..... this i got in my eye and thought iwas going to have to get married with an almost closed eye as it was damn sore for a long time after

Yup, the Elise and my best man, Cameron's, pristine Impreza P1, provided troop transport for the core wedding party. The funniest part was driving from ceremony in Linlithgow to reception in Edinburgh with a stack of balloons hanging off both cars!

Some pics here...

What a great day. Soon be 6 years ago, my goodness.

UJI also featured as a wedding car, along with Del's original white S1, for my brother's pal Richard, some time before it was used as my own in fact :-)

Available at very reasonable rates... ;-)
