after David's post on the alloy wheel fitment, and us ending up getting onto previous car pictures, i thought i would chuck mine in the gallery and have a look what everyone els's car history has been!

Gta Nizzy? The old MG Metro turbo was better, you could easily put it's engine into a Mini


Can't find any pics of my first, but google 1983 Mini Sprite - it looked like that (I so want another one!)

Last winter I went for this as my winter hack:


Erica had an old boxy white Fiat panda that I can find any photos of atm.
Moved onto a Mini that eventually looked like this:


Which looked like this inside:


Replaced with a green mk1 mx5, which was replaced by another green mk1 mx5:


Which had some nice bits in the interior, and of couse she now has:

Wash your mouth out it was a GTi (only an Spi model though) very quick though and more power than a turbo, it had a close ratio box and a quick rack as standard. it understeered everywhere so you just drove everywhere with the pedal in the carpet. I nearly bought one to do stock hatch in but decided the Elise was a better place for my money.

Ah ok, the Gti was the much better car right enough.

Had a soft spot for the 3 door 2 series rover (behind you) too. My dad had a 216 GTi in white, though the one behind you is a 214i I reckon, and in tahiti blue would have to be the later model with the (uglier imo) black grill at the front...

The car he had before was a 216 gti in white and I nearly bought it. it broke down on the test drive so I walked away and bought the mertro a few weeks later

Just a few off this laptop.... Had many many more inc... Audi Quattro Turbo, V8 Disco, Grand Cherokee, V8 Esprit, lots of fast fords, VW's and Audi's lol etc etc.... Showing my age here lol

Love the yellow exige s2 above, think it suits the black bits of the n/a model. Any more pics of it showing the chequers better?

I remember laughing at what I thought was one of the salesmen getting out of a part-exed smart that had been brought in, I was in stitches pointing at it, only to find out..... it was the cars owner who had brought it round the back!!!
