Big Ways

Post by ryallm » Fri Mar 19, 2010 11:57 am

Continuing my journeys in the parallel universe of skydving, some pictures from the last few days in Spain.

Above the clouds on day 1:

The next day and my first foray into 'big way' formations. Planning a 16 way jump. Me somewhere at the back only slightly bricking myself :D :

Just how many can we get hanging onto the outside of the plane :-) :

An exit. Tricky getting all those bodies out the door as quickly as possible:

The formation building. Me on the far right coming into dock in my slot:

And blimey it works -building some nice formations. Me in black with the silver V on my back:

Breaking off at 5000ft:

Needless to say after all that work is seeming crushingly mundane today :? Scotty and John - get that AFF course booked :)

Great pictures Mark and an unbelievable feeling for those that have never tried it, but nowadays pic number two is my idea of fun.

That hanging on the side of the plane looks well dodgy, you could fall off.

I e-mailed the people in France but the dates didn't work out. It would have been good to do it the week inbetween FF and racing at Magny Cours. FF extreme or what

Oh well, you'll need to join me in Empuria sometime - best DZ in Europe and a great place to do AFF.
