I'm not sure I do, in fact I don't think I do, sort of looses something in translation if you know what I mean?
Still, what do I know!

I think no exige looks good with the standard one removed. Each to their own!

It is never going to look as good as the original.
But that is not the point, it is there to come off so that you can appreciate the Exige as if it was an Elise, ie an open sports car. It is one reason I would not look beyond an Elise, but you now have the option of the best of both Worlds with an Exige and the soft top kit.

What's really needed for us Exige convertibles is a nice carbon centre roof scoop that fits with or without the softtop!
(my patent btw!)
My softtop needs stripes...

Well after a few weeks of living with the soft top I decided to put the hard top back on, and it just looks so much better. Don't think i will be going back to the soft top.

That is exactly my experience too. I found out that I do not miss open top motoring as much as I thought.
Good to hear that yours made £400. My is unlined and not in the best condition but should still make reasonable money when I get round to it.
I think it looks slightly better black on orange, but still not great (BTW the roof bars in this pic have just been placed in for effect)
