Fee during morning practice. Fee not only won the 4WD category of Club Class, but won Club Class outright beating the big power RWD Supras with a 55.4 second lap (on road tyres)
Always remember to use the bonnet pins!
This Exige was going very well, until the engine developed a terminal problem (oil pouring out

)
Guglieme's Exige (came 2nd again to the EVO of Gareth Lloyd)
Very well driven white Exige (or is it an Elise with a hard top?) which I think won the RWD category in Club Class
Portable BBQ
Scott Robson (gambler) at full chat up the straight - Scott had another great result, with 2nd place on the podium
I've got lots more photos still to process and upload, though there are plenty others in the gallery already at

Scott got a 56.2 during the morning session, and a 56.4 in the final.
Full results here:

You can see that both Scott and Fee lose out quite a bit in terms of straight line speed to some of the other cars, but more than make up for it throughout the corners and braking!

Fee seems to be using her head more this year too

and appreciating that lap data/time is useful in car.
In practice she went out on 1 year old worn 888's and did a 56.220 on her first flyer. She then came in and said 'that will do...' I had to convince her to go back out just to cool the car/brakes down. In the past she would have just kept flying round and wearing out the car/tyres/brakes for 15laps or so. In the final she did 3 hot laps, then 3 cool laps. Her time from these was a 56.082 - good enough for 1st still. With the tyres coming back to her she gave one last try and up came the 55.431.. she then came into the pits where again I had to try and convince her to go back out and keep circulating just incase she needed to improve it. Tense Times
Have a look at the vid here -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsgMsUp2Pe0 It includes her 4 flying laps in the final... and her reaction on the last lap (55.4) is priceless

Great result for fee. Well done! Her time is even more impressive as the drifting boys had just spent the previous hour drifting down duffus, making it very sloppy with a lot of loose rubber. On the 1st half of the session, when the traffic is all moving fast, there was bugger all grip down there.

Scotty, you looked as though you were going rather well! I did think about the consiquences of the drifting on right before you went out! Great result from yourself and very impressive from Fee. Some of the guys I was with were rather suprised that a girl was able to peddle a car round knockhill like that and I heard a few people at the side "Is that a burd dayin that....that mental by thu way"
Well done to both if you! It was a great day of spectating, watching the cars going round at that speed was something else

Wrong Elise...
Jamie Willson in his Exige,
lost out (in class) by 4 hundredths of a sec - track knowledge really helps here (or lack of!)
