HI Guys
Was trying out the new Sony Bloggie camera which is meant to make editing and uploading of movies mega simple.
Here's my first try with it at the Motorshow during the Supercar display, using its 360 degree lens (it can just be used as a normal cam also)
Anyway, i havent managed to line it up properly, and its central point seems to be out the left hand side of the car, but a couple of SE'rs are visible, and hopefully next time and during frolic you'll get to see some of the action, literally within 5 mins of us getting towards to wireless hotspot!

I feel giddy after a minute of watching it!
Not sure of the point of the 360 lens, for track useage, as it is too fisheyed. Quality looks OK though.
Is it the same principal as the FLIP HD ultra? I have one of those, and the ease of using it for uplading movies is great. HD quality is superb.

had it not quite level hence why not footage from the front, which as Mr Robertson (my pax for this stint) would attest to is a REAL shame

I think so - not too familiar with that product tbh.
Next time I'll have a proper shot with it, but i think if you were just using normally it would be awesome.
360 will be fun once I work out how to position it better and actually capture the footage upfront

It'll be pretty good with the front view in the middle. I take it that setting means a drastic reduction in the picture quality?

Hope not - just need a bit of time to play with it TBH.
