So how does the new bike compare?

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

its much more capable than the old bike, but i'm finding it much harder to master. Old bike was very easy for me to ride, this one feels more highly strung. But i'm getting there

at one point, knockhill was surrounded 360 degrees by menacing black rain clouds, yet the sun still shone. Very very unusual. Its normally the other way round

i bought the CD from the track photographer which i dont normally do. I was slighlty dissapointed tbh, of the 52 photos, about 20 of them were out of focus, but the ones that he got spot on were really quite good. Still, had better photos by fergus and a few others on here though.

Good pics Neil, Really should've got on track with mine by now.
I see you removed the mirrors, was this to stop you looking behind?
Any pics of the front tyre?

they advise you to remove mirrors to stop you lookingbehind. personally i removed them as they're quite expensive to replace when you crash
front tyre looks in pretty good shape, not worn right to the edge, but i'm told thats to do with the profile, rather than me being a pussy.
