Went along to an old school Escort tracknight lastnight for a look, here's a few pics.
I would've gladly bought something like this a few weeks ago if I hadn't went for the Exige v

I too have a bit of a soft spot for old escorts with my first car being a 1979 1.1L Escort Popular in light beige . That was 1988 and I made sure it was a two model. By the time I was finished with it, it had RS steel wheels, RS boot spoiler, front quarter bumpers, square no. plate and 4 spot lights . Only thing done to the engine was a 1300GT head. Too slow to get me into any trouble - just as well.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it post transformation but here it is with my brother's Mk 1 1300 xl
