Post by ryallm » Tue Aug 24, 2010 11:55 am

Is there a weight limit? 12 Stone seems a bit 'tight'.

The one I read was 14st weight limit. Should do more looking into it and then maybe start a new thread to see if anyone else fancies jumping!!

14st is a common limit for a tandem passenger. If you are going to do it, my advice is do it somewhere with a decent turbine plane (which absolutely rules out any DZ in Scotland sadly) and don't even think about doing a static line course. Try a tandem at a good DZ with plenty of altitude to get a real feel for freefall, then if you like it do AFF. VXjon did a tandem from 14k about this time last year in Lancashire with me jumping alongside. I think he found it to one of life's less boring experiences :D

Any links would be cool. I fancied the tandem skydive more than static line but there is £100 price difference at the place I was looking at. I would defo prefer someone else being the pilot/driver for my first shot! :?
