Bookatrack at Knockhill - 21st August 2010

Post by Stewart » Tue Aug 31, 2010 8:16 pm

As part of my staycation, I had a day out at KH as a passenger, photographer and spectator. The atmosphere and weather reminded me of many a day spent on a French Frolic :thumbsup .

Nice to meet Mike and Alan for the first time and to catch up with others whom I had met briefly in the past. Thanks to Mass for showing me around his lambo - it is like nothing I have ever sat in before, although Mass did mention that Shug described it as similar to an Italian prawn film set - I'll bow to his better knowledge

Thank you also to Alan and Mike for the pax rides. Both very quick cars but in different ways. Mike's driving style in particluar was exceptionally smooth and fluid. There can be few better days to be in a 2-11 at KH. Alan was pedalling very well indeed and his car seems the perfect S1.

As usual I had my camera with me with a view to getting some practice in for capturing some BTCC action this weekend. Here are the results.

Awesome pics! Looks a great day, I had intended to pop up and say hi but ended up working on the car at SLS til 6, changing a tight ball joint, adjusting the front ride height and camber and sorting out my brakepad rattle. I hoped I'd be done in time to pop up but didn't manage :(

Great pictures, looks like a lovely day.

This is an unusual sight! Is it a Scorpion? Can't remember what they are called...

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
