First one of the suede-ing of my dash - total cost was under a tenner. The scabby scratched dash was doing my head in, and as I couldnt find anyone selling the bits I needed I decided to have a bash at trimming it myself having done a bit of this kind of thing before. The suede is stuff I can get through work and is upholstery grade so wont fade etc.

I did the upper dash part on both sides of the stack and also the bits beside the stereo and round the switches. I am real pleased with the end result, looks a lot fresher.

Secondly a couple of shots of my now fixed car :D

nice to see you back on the road again!

as a matter of interest - what was the final bill for the repair and did you get any "extras" sorted at the same time?

very nice finish to the suede dash - how long did that take?

notice you're not parked outside the work today. i was hoping for a nice sunny day like yesterday as i decided to bring the elise into work but it's chucking it down!

Took me longer to dismantle and rebuild than to actually cover things.

Was done in a changing rooms style - sticky spray and a few craft tools!

I dont know about the final bill. Its going 50/50 on the insurance so whatever it will be I`ll be responsible for half.

Ninja, saw your car today - I was in mine, but had to go to glenrothes and edinburgh so have racked up 200 very wet miles in it today - just home!

I dont park it outside work as its too $$$!!!
