AMP3 Charity Trackday 2011 - Mandy's Photos

Post by mac » Mon Sep 26, 2011 10:34 am

Guys,

I've added a link to the main thread but thought it would be an idea to duplicate it here.

Mandy took around 400+ photo's on Friday, some good others need a bit of fettling, but there should be at least one of everyone's car who was out on track (hopefully)

The flickr link above contains all the photo's taken and processed to date (we think there could be another data card with more on it) in screen resolution.

We have the full sized hi res photo's here on the hard drive which you can have in return for chucking a few more coins at the donations page.

Thanks

Erm..........I've just found the other SD card - which has another 400+ photos on it!

Will get them uploaded to a new set ASAP and post up the details!

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Stiffer springs needed methinks - it's on 325/400 Nitrons with the damping wound way up FFS...

The 2012 calendar thread could really do with some of these pics.

I was noticing your slammed stance and wondered what ride height you're running. I have the same shocks/springs etc but wasn't nearly as bum-scraping as that.

It's about 105/115 at standstill - chosen as it's about as low as I can go without doing proper clam damage on road furniture. The 48s don't half let you carry corner speed when they're hot though, so in all likelihood, it's just grip overpowering the spring rates mounted. Might go stiffer if it becomes more of a pure track car - they are fine on the road.

N1 was on those Shug, but when I sent them back to Nitron for a rebuild I had 400/500 fitted.

Still way below the Hoffman's on N1 of 550/750.
