You were definitely down on power, assuming that Ali had a pax he was pulling away from you on the straights.

i think it might be, i also had a large passanger (i had to use 2nd at clarks  )and my tyres were way below the markers (but it souldn't make that much of a difference)

Its weird as the last time i really drove the car was on frolic and there was no difference in power then.

Nice vid. :D

Mine is standard other than 2bular cat and back box...never been RR'ed.
I had no pax at that point which makes a massive difference...>10% on power/weight...plus I felt a big difference in corner speeds and braking sans pax.

I think the video seems to show the g/box differences. I can't believe how far up the pit straight you get in 2nd gear? Think I was changing up much sooner and I needed 5th on the straight. Are your Jubu gears 3rd and 4th or 2nd also?

Shame there wasn't really a clear lap to see the times.

You are leading with the chin on this one..........

Ali is racing snake in comparison to your "fuller" figure. :D
Ali has a virginal car compared the the dogging yours has received over 3 years
Add to the mix a hefty passenger and you might get nearer the answer.

Another consideration is that Ali is a better driver than you :damnfunny

Its make me feel better that I only lost half the straight to Ali in 2 clear laps when I was in it, most of which was at the chicane, as I couldnt see over the steering wheel ;-)

ali is super smooth but ill have him when were banging door handles

me + sean = 35 stone

ali racing snake =?

Thing is tut passed me on the straight (held me up on the corners) as well and i had Lindsay in the car. the only thing i can think of is the intercooler pipes could be full of leaves and my air filter is exposed = it was pissing done in Aberdeen when we left.

Haha! Scotty's fixed seat is too far back for me. Could you reach 1st gear?
Think I had a pax when you were driving Stu (who kicked the wing mirror so couldn't see much behind).

Yes I'd rather not bang my brand new 'door handles' mate.

'Only' 95kg racing snake...

If I had Lindsay in the car.............I wouldn't be too bothered about anything else going on around me

:cheers

I remember Scotty thinking his car was down on power last year, when i popped over to a r/r session he was at. At the time I was thinking Racing Driver excuse but pretty clear from the video Something isn't right.

first was a problem, but , thankfully, never needed that on track.
I did have my jacket stuffed down my back, but could have done with about 5 jackets to even get in the seat.
If you look at some of the pictures, (one at the harpin I think) you will see how low I was in the car.

Fun

I understand the fixed seat mounting lowers it a fair bit. I should get the fixed brackets for mine really...
