That turbo is awesome and will make it go,
Should make what, 550 horses or so?
I've been in a car with that very blower,
It comes in very hard with more and more.

A bit later spooling than the likes of the green,
But harder when it does so you'll never be seen,
Up the straight at knockhill I'd like to wager,
In an RS I reckon it's a bloody danger!!

:damnfunny

Thats brilliant, you are on a roll today
hoping for about 500bhp and spooling at 3800rpm, bit later in the range but should make it feel faster at least.

There's something beautiful about a turbo, and what a monster that one looks like. :D

Well, engine is in and running :D

Watch on YouTube

Took it out its first drive on sunday and found a few leaks which are already sorted.
Drives really well, just need to break it in and then get it mapped.

Also got some new seats and bits to go in but need to find time to fit them

Cheers :thumbsup

It's a nice and strange feeling at the same time, will be very happy when the mapping is done.

Can't wait to get it up to knockhill, aim is middle of this year

Sounds evil and a little bit S1 Exige lumpy idle-ness; hope that stays when it gets mapped?

Looking forward to a shot next time I am home.

:thumbsup Pretty much just reading engine builds on forums and a workshop manual for torque specs, ah the joys of the internet

Good Post
You can almost smell the unburnt fuel on the tickover vid
You must have spent a fair bit.........on carry outs .......judging by all the labelled plastic containers?
