Can't see the video at work just now. Do you have it of the roof of the car? Think I spotted you at/near the Riverside museum last week?

hi woody,

yeah i have had it on the roof along past the river view museum…. this vid is on the front left wing near the light looking across the front. The shot was coming back along the express way.....still yet to try a few more angles to see how they look.....

Suggestions welcome

Cool, has the look of a moody music video shoot with the night time and repeat overhead lighting...

Aren't you supposed to put new toys like that on the Christmas list and wait and see if Santa brings them 1st ?

work well dont they - try putting it in the very front of the clam, right on the deck - gives an awesome idea of the speed a bit like Gt5 .

hi andy,

yes they are a blast these go-pro's........and yeah will defo try the low down on the front of the clam shot.....the only draw back is the audio. its difficult to get the exhaust note with the wind....i know, you can change the back to help, but doesnt do justice...will have to think up some kind of remote audio device and attach to the rear clam......any ideas???

leigh :thumbsup

Like the videos! I've just bought one also. Good prices now that there is a new version out. Did you use the suction mount for the roof shots? Would be good to try and mount an external mic near the engine somehow.

Do the Go Pro's allow an external mic?

If not, some type of recording device and a mic in the engine bay and just sync them afterwards.

Yup, no external mic input. Not sure if the new Hero HD2 has though. A separate recording device does seem the way to go.

I've got a Yamaha Pocketrak c24, but havent really bothered in the past.

The race car was all in car, and all you could hear was engine.
