Finally.

Post by keevster » Fri May 04, 2012 5:21 pm

Just wanted to show of my new Weapon!!

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3786487.htm

Hopefully be picking it up in the next couple of weeks. Was a toss up between the SC Elise and Cayman S. Was so close last night to striking a deal on a Cayman S. Brandon from Murray Lotus mailed me last night to inform me of current stock. So popped up this morning, 5 minutes in the Elise and i new it was for me. Brokered a deal, happy chappy.
Rather impressed with the level of interest, knowledge and how accommodating Murray Lotus were. Saved myself a good 10k on what i was gona pay for the Porker, so delighted.
Car is in pristine condition, hats off to the previous owner, and the original owner who has specced the car well, lots of nice wee additions.

Totally blown away with the power in this Motor, and its directness, mighty impressed. Just looking forward to getting it out on the road, and track off course.

I'll get some decent photos up when i actually have it.
Now just need to sell my FD2.

Congrats!

You only need to have a quick read in the Murrays Thanks thread to realise how good they are!

Car looks great! Much more special than a Cayman IMO.

Hi D. Yeh on the hit list was Elise SC, Cayman S, 370z and Audi TTRS. For the Money and Running costs, i don't reckon i could have done any better than the Elise. Probably still have a Cayman R at some point, but they are just way to pricey just now. Another couple of years and they should be around the 30 - 34k mark, so more attainable to myself.
I am sure this wee pocket rocket will get me into plenty of trouble in the meantime. :D

We love to see someone so enthusiastic about their new Elise, and it is a lovely car.

Does not come better than a top off model with plenty of power. You will also be well on your way to a good relationship with Craig and Brandon. They are also a part of this Forum so no way that you could go wrong.

Thanks for the comments guys, really looking forward to ownership. Kenny should find out in 10 days time if I have to go back, so potentially could make it!

No worries Mike, will give you a holler mate
