Porsche 964

After spending about 4 days detailing the car whilst I was off on holiday, had an opportunity to get some decent shots by the bridge:
Car is looking better from a distance but definitely needs the skills of the professionals to get it looking 100%.
So the plan is to:
Get the front wings/bonnet and rear bumper resprayed (that's where the substantial marks are from 20 years of bad washing

)
Get a new badge for the back as the "2" was previously broken and been glued on together by the last owner (only £7 from Porsche so new one will be on order soon)
Cars also been booked into Polished Bliss in September for 3 days of detailing.

Yep - went up to see them to grab some of the products and let them see the car. Sandra was amazed that you could spend the price of a haircut on a tub of wax!! So I did
The Evora also received the same treatment whilst I was off so both looking good.

Very shiney. Bridge looks good as well without the scaffolding.

Looks good george - there's something lovely about the big front end on that 964 - probably one of the first real "super" cars I ever saw in the metal so always occupies a special place in me heart

The 964 is so undervalued in my opinion. It has the looks of the older Porsche's with the raised wings but has the majority of the modern conveniences of the 993.
Sandra has said that its definitely a keeper and the plan over the years is to try and get it running/looking even better. There a bit of a list as it's a 20yr old car though!!
Thanks for all the nice comments

I know what you mean - strange for the RS to command such a premium whilst the "standard" car gets overlooked. Petrolheads are such a fickle bunch
