I was going through some old photo's and came across these. Given I don't have the car now thought I would let you see what happened when I went off at KH 2 years ago.

He probably did not want to get wet.... the water in the tyres in tyre walls can be fairly rancid! :puke

Didn't realise the impact was so heavy, remember seeing just after it was towed back to the pits and it didn't look as if it had been in as big an accident.

These 211's must be well built

Cheers

It's common knowledge that a particular car has been involved in at least one other excursion in to a tyre wall and as horrendous as it looks all that was sustained was body damage that was replaced by OEM parts throughout and subsequently checked by a Lotus dealership upon completion.
These cars by their very nature are subject to rough love and I suspect you would struggle to find one that hasn't had some sort of damage in it's history none of which would be disclosed.

However in light of your comment I have removed the photo's.
No need to remove mike, i had also noticed on seloc, which for some reason , i was on last night, that someone had asked about the car, and it was posted that it had been Chis Hoys car, and was nice and fresh looking as it had just been repaired.
Nothing wrong with a well loved car :thumbsup
