All the work was carried out by the previous OAP owner for reasons I am not quite sure of.........

Makes for something a bit different?

Ahhh, 75bhp explains a lot! I thought it was a proper Cooper S, and Holly was selling her horse to buy a month's insurance. :D

Thought you were off your rocker.

Til I realised you simply stiffed the poor suffering prev owner. Neat.

You ARE superdad, Dad.

MINIs eh. Kids love em.

Do I not remember reading in Evo a few years back that the Mini One and Cooper have the same engine bar the map?

I have the bluefin in my BMW, works well.

Yup. The only difference seems to be that the map won't allow fully open throttle on the One, but does on the Cooper, which means they're much the same to drive normally until you floor it, then the Cooper makes a few more horses at higher revs.

Source: various forum discussions. I've not driven either.

Looks the part Ian. :thumbsup As you say one/cooper power shouldn't be an issue in future either.

Time for an SE MINI lovers thread? ;)

OOOOOH.

Wish I hadn't spent all my pocket money on gangsta rims now, Rossyboy!

Wait til I show Lisa...

But a pair of Autobulbs LED sidelight bulbs will do a fair approximation in the meantime ;-)
